NK Review : Telugu Movie: Badrinath

Rating: 4/10. Movie falls into the Flop category movies which have come in this summer (Teenmaar, Shakti, Veera, Maaro and now Badrinath)

Movie Certification: should be certified A. An absolute violence, no common sense, commercialisation of hindu mythological values and human values.

Subject: supposedly be a socio fantasy but over cooked as Love story with no base.

Story Line: story based on student of takshashila.

Plus Points: All the attraction of the movie is around
1) Good Dance of Allu Arjun and some good effort of Tamanna in Dances.
2) Music and Songs
3) Some of the action sequences (but mind it, the action sequences are too violentic)

Weak Points:
No new subject. A mixture of Indra, Anji, Khaleja, Shakti, Magadheera.

Again Villain character is created as one stupid dumbo guy who have no skills, brains or guts to challenge the Hero character. Not sure when can Telugu Directors / Story writers can create a good Villain role (gone are those days of Rajanala, Satyanarayana, SV Ranga Rao, Kannada Prabhakar, etc...).

Though Hero-Allu Arjun had done some good home work to work on the physique, Dance, Action sequence, Sword fight Skills and Heroine - Tamanna had worked upon some good dance sequences and slimmed down --- Director V.V. Vinayak had done a atrocious fatal job by not working on the subject, and not doing enough home work on story before he is coming into sets.
Director / Story writer could not even create a good comedy track to keep the movie lively and entertaining for audience - the old Indra movie comedy track (MSN, Brahmanandam, Dharmavarapu and Krishna Bhagavan) is used as he was not creative enough to stitch the story with strong base.

Finally a good subject is cooked out to be 3rd grade hotel lunch at the cost of Indian Mythological values, human values and sentiments of hinduism.

Director has not taken any care towards the presentation of actors according to the scenes. Ones eyes can easily notice the actors wearing Footwear while they were present in temples, heroine comes up with all the sultry stuff at temple places. Guess, director had kept his brains at home while he was shooting, by not following the fundamental values of our system.

Story:
A story which is about an extraordinary kid(Badrinath) who turns out to be a shishya of Takshashila under the Guru(prakash raj). After the rigorous education, training in different indian martial arts, kid turns out to be the Kshetra Palaka for the Lord Vishnu Kshetra - Badrinath. And there on movie takes twists into heroine character and how she falls for the kshetra palaka - movie folds into any other normal love story movie with the trio of Hero - Heroine - Villain.

Verdict:
An blunderous effort from Director. Telugu audience can refrain themselves from not watching this movie as there is no good entertainment. The only good points in this movie - Songs and Dances.

Realization or Action Points for Movie Team:
Producer Allu Aravind had earned some good profits with his earlier projects, may be this is some movie where he clearly want to some good loss.

Director V.V.Vinayak - when you get some good subject line and funds to make that subject into a good movie - you got to do some home work and come on to sets. One should really learn from the flops of Khaleja and Shakti when they want to build and produce a movie which is of this nature. V.V.Vinayak may have to take some learning lessons from our old directors (Kodi Ramakrishna, lessons from Vittalacharya movies) and can be new director Rajamouli, if he wants to tryout for some good click of this nature.

To Audience:
Dont make any efforts to watch this movie in theaters as you are not loosing any entertainment. As it is a sheer flop - very soon this movie will be aired in one of the telugu channels.

NK reveiw: Veera Movie

NK Review: Veera Movie

Rating: 4/10.
(If some body looks at hero image, and wall posters and go to watch this movies, they have really fallen into ditch).

Movie Certification: should be certified under U/A. U because of the little child sentiment it carries, A - because of the Violence, Exposing done by heroines.

Subject: mixture of overwhelmed Sentiment and Vendetta.

Story Line: an inspired son of a  village head.

Plus Points:
1st half of the movie.
Comedy track of Brahmanandam - Ravi Teja - Ali. After long time, we can some little healthy comedy of this trio.
Raviteja & Kajal - both have done good job as energetic couple.
Music - for 3 songs. Ofcourse, 2 of the 3 are remixes.

Weak Points:
Age old Subject. Not even a old wine in new bottle.
Once again Rahul Dev and Pradeep Ravat are under utilized by director for their caliber.
Action sequences. One would really get doubts what would a hero been eating, drinking all the while. (Horlicks, Boost, Bournavita, Redbull, XXX -- guess all these are mixed and made it to some new drink)
Tapsee, overdosed exposing, over acting, no value add role in the movie.
Screenplay, Editing, boring and very common sequencing of movie.
Finally so nonsense climax, which is no impressive closing shot for movie.

Story:
A story which is all around Hero and His family. Movie starts with Ravi Teja displaces Ajay. Ajay is the security officer appointed to secure guard Shyam's family, and its obvious that Ajay is sold out to Rahul Dev. A little kid sentiment and comedy in the 1st half keeps audience little interest in the movie. But no use of the role of Tapsee who is just included in the movie for the commercial objectives of Director and Producer but no subject demand.

2nd half would go on as a flash back narrated by Vijay Kumar to Shyam's family which is all the in the village (sada shiva puram). Nazar as the village head and father of 3 children - Ravi Teja, his brother and Sreedevi (Roja as the step mom to both boy kids). Ravi Teja & Kajal's romancing and little love sentiment is good to watch on silver screen.

Verdict:

If you want to take some breathing from Summer and want to take break TV serial soaps and boring IPL-4 season, This cannot be the movie for real good entertainer. You can really avoid this movie. Otherwise theatre owner doesnt even supply Zandu Balm or Amrutanzan to give you relief from caused head ache.

Realization or Action Points for Movie Team:

Director should have selected movie subject as per the current trends or with some new subject than the old 1990 story lines.
Ravi Teja, a hero who tries for variety and Kick - not sure why he has fallen for no kick subject.
Kajal - recent times, she has been known hit heroine. But she should be careful about the subjects, because the calibre she built for real good acting skills - all those go waste when she gets into flop sequence.
Tapsee - apart from sizzling, sultry, copy cat costuming from hollywood heroines, she should get into some serious heroine roles. Otherwise she is no - no heroine for true telugu movie audience.
Producer - after heart break and hands burn, he would definitely think thrice next time to produce a movie which has good subjects. This is a real loss making movie.

NK Review: Teenmaar Movie

NK Review: Teenmaar Movie

trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d9mvJvXa...

Rating: 6/10.

Movie Certification: should be certified under A category, not for audience aged below 18.
Subject: a person's sole search of True Love.
Story Line: a jolly freelancer who lately realizes of True Love.

Plus Point: Pawan Kalyan, his acting, energy and styles. Arjun Palwai character and last 30min of movie.
Fights & Action seens are seems to be little possible types.
Story: I treat this as a weak point. It should have changed as per the Telugu audience traditions, cultural & ethical views.
Screenplay: Fussy.
Editing: was OK, as its just a remake of Love Aaj Kal.
Songs: Three songs are good - Vayyarala, Sri Ganga, Gelupu Thalupule. Other songs lyrics are not that great.
Music: Music scored is just not entertaining.  I request Mr. Mani Sharma to sit home and learn & create some new tunes on his own. All the tracks including background score is copy from either Old Hindi, Telugu, or Hollywood tracks.
Direction: director hasn't done anythin gr8. Any asst. director could hv used his skills to redirect existing movie.
Over exposing: I really don't understand - which Indian lady in Mysore roams around with tight skimpy pants on. Trisha could have chosen some better clothing.
